• Online ordering, reservations and gift cards (via Toast and our reservation provider): name, email, phone number, payment information and order, booking or gift card details.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We also share information with authorities when required by law, and with a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized.

6. Targeted advertising and your choices

Where you have consented, we use Google Ads/DoubleClick and Meta Pixel to deliver advertising and measure its performance, using pages visited, ad clicks and conversions, actions taken on the site and identifiers (including hashed identifiers). If you have not accepted, these tools do not run on your visit at all.

7. Text messages (SMS) and email

If you give us your mobile number or email and agree to hear from us (for example when you join our list, sign up for rewards, place an order or book an event), we may send you:

• Transactional messages about your order, reservation, catering request or job application.
• Marketing messages about specials, events and offers — only if you opted in.

SMS: message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts and HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase. Your mobile number and SMS opt-in consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes; we share them only with the service providers who send our messages for us.

Email: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We may still send you non-marketing emails about orders or requests you made.

8. Photos, video and security cameras at the restaurant

Tequila Mama Cantina uses security cameras inside and outside the restaurant, and we regularly photograph and film the dining room, bar, events and food for our website and social media.

By entering Tequila Mama Cantina, you agree that you may appear in security recordings and in photos or videos taken for marketing, and you allow us to use those images on our website, social media and advertising without payment. Security footage is used for safety and is kept only as long as needed.

If you prefer not to appear in marketing content, just tell our staff or a manager during your visit, or email us afterwards, and we will avoid or remove it where reasonably possible.

9. Your privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the right to:

10. Data security and retention

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website or online transmission is completely secure. Information submitted through our website forms — including catering requests and job applications — is kept for 30 days, unless we need it longer to complete your request or the law requires it. Order, reservation and gift card information is retained by our partners (such as Toast) under their own retention practices. Security camera footage is kept only as long as needed for safety.

11. Children’s privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it. Alcohol-related content is intended only for guests 21 and older.
